Alright, getting down to it. The ending is not really a cliffhanger because we know exactly what's going to happen: The unit is going off. There's no suspense.

As for the memory, don't even bother with italics. Just start a new paragraph, and say something along the lines of "It was four years ago that [i]blah blah blah...[/i]"

You do not have to say "said" or some variant after each sentence if the speaker is clearly known by the audience, and try splitting up the speech, like so:

"Forgive you?" Mr. A hissed through the metal mask on his face, "And let your innocent victims suffer? Reward you for evil?"

There are also various grammatical and spelling errors that are not listed here.
