Day 32-33: -:-, Friday, July 16-Saturday, July 17, 2010
Took two days to do this. Started on the first day, added the final touches on the second day, about 6 hours total invested... But I'd say it was worth it.
It's pretty cool to see two state franchises get together for an event, but the AL/GA GBs seem like a perfect pair. Our neighbors to the East are really great guys (Especially, from what I hear, a Mr. Ron Daniels) and we're all on very friendly terms. If Ghostbusting was real, I know who we would trust for backup should the task become to great, and I know that we would return the favor. One of our goals is to have at least one event a year (that isn't a con) where the two teams meet. Our first so far is going to be the screening of Ghostbusters at the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham.
